Further down the strip is New York New York which, as you
can see from the picture at the right, looks like the highlights
of the New York skyline packed into a small area. Inside, frankly,
it didn't look half as nice.

At the left is
a roller-coaster which winds its way around the outside of the
casino. Yes, the car is upside-down at that point. Camera note:
there's a slight delay between when you press the shutter and when the
camera actually takes the picture. That, coupled with my slow reflexes,
meant that I had to wait for the cars to come around three times
before I finally got the
timing right and got this one.

Further south is the MGM Grand, which, at slightly over 5,000 rooms,
is reputed to be the largest hotel in the world. The lobby is
incredibly spacious and tastefully decorated (which is a rarity in
Las Vegas).

There are, of course, many other casinos which aren't pictured here.
If you're in Las Vegas, be sure to stop at Bellagio and see their
flower conservatory; it's spectacular.
