Epson PhotoPC 750Z Review
Back to Digital Picture Index
I recently purchased an Epson
PhotoPC 750Z digital camera from
MegaDepot for $515.
By the way, I am very impressed with the service from MegaDepot. I had
some confusion about the wording on their website, called them
up, and was quickly transferred to someone who cleared up the
issue.
The review is divided into these sections:
and here is the extremely quick summary.
Good Points
- Picture quality is quite good in most cases.
- Camera comes with NiMH batteries and recharger.
- Camera bag has a belt loop.
- Included software is excellent.
- "Solar Assist" feature allows you to view LCD in
direct sunlight.
Bad Points
- Manuals are badly organized and indexed.
- Zoom feels sluggish.
- One horrible user interface design error
(see controls page)
Bottom Line
For $515, it's a good deal.
If I had paid over $700, I would be much less pleased with my purchase.
I still have to work with this camera more; it will go with me on a
vacation to Las Vegas next month.
