Epson PhotoPC 750Z Review

I recently purchased an Epson PhotoPC 750Z digital camera from MegaDepot for $515. By the way, I am very impressed with the service from MegaDepot. I had some confusion about the wording on their website, called them up, and was quickly transferred to someone who cleared up the issue.

Good Points

Picture quality is quite good in most cases.
Camera comes with NiMH batteries and recharger.
Camera bag has a belt loop.
Included software is excellent.
"Solar Assist" feature allows you to view LCD in direct sunlight.

Bad Points

Manuals are badly organized and indexed.
Zoom feels sluggish.
One horrible user interface design error (see controls page)

Bottom Line

For $515, it's a good deal. If I had paid over $700, I would be much less pleased with my purchase. I still have to work with this camera more; it will go with me on a vacation to Las Vegas next month.
