Towards the end of the day I decided to let the camera figure out what the proper timing was, so, rather than use 1/30 second exposure, I set the camera to auto-exposure (but still no flash). These two pictures are the ones with auto-exposure.

That makes a total of ten pictures out of forty-five that I'm happy with; it's a little less than the average I'd get from using the manual camera described on the previous page.
