Comment of the Fortnight 23 November 2000

23 November 2000 (Thanksgiving Thoughts)

Things I have to be thankful for -- this is by no means a complete list:

My health is good.
My brother Steve and his wife are coming to visit for the first time in ages.
- [And I don't have to cook dinner.]
My mom is doing fine too.
My cat ~~loves me~~ accepts me on her own terms.
I have a housemate with whom I get along well. He also knows how to fix things around the house. I am totally clueless in that area, so you have no idea how thankful I am for that.
I'm thankful that I've been able to participate (if only in a small way) in this whole crazy affair that we call the Internet.

Today's comment is short; I still have to finish cleaning up a bit before Steve and his wife arrive.

I've been busy writing another article. I'm very excited about the technology that it discusses. I'll let you know when and where it gets published.
