He's still a murdering dictator. I feel sorry for the decent people of China who have to live under the vicious, tyrannical government that Jiang Zemin is in charge of.
When I go to the store, I look for "made in the USA" first, and am willing to pay a little bit extra to support my country. I will buy "made in China" only if there is no other option. I don't like the idea of my money going to finance China's slave labor camps, and I hope you don't either!
The 5 Nov 1997 issue of the San Jose Mercury News has an article stating that Earthlink, an Internet Service Provider, signed an agreement to be included in a list of ISPs. Part of the agreement said that Earthlink could only offer its customers Internet Explorer unless the customer asked for another browser. Earthlink was forbidden to "express or imply that an alternate browser is available."
But, of course, Microsoft ©® would never do anything anticompetitive; they've said so many times that they simply offer the best product and let the customers decide what to buy.
I do wonder what comments Mr. Michael Fumento has on this whole situation. He's the guy who wrote a book titled The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS.
