Eminem, the rap star, has no use for women and wants to kill homosexuals. If it weren't for his constant use of obscene language, he'd be a poster boy for the extreme religious right in the United States.
Linda Chavez, nominee for U.S. Secretary of Labor, withdrew her nomination after a firestorm of controversy over her giving housing to an illegal alien. Personally, I think it was a nice thing for her to do; I've done it myself. It certainly does seem inconsistent with her public views on immigration, though -- she was in favor of California proposition 187, which would have denied education to children of illegal immigrants.

What I'm actually curious to know is this: how many of the conservatives who were (correctly) praising her for her compassion were the same people who were demanding that churches stop harboring refugees from El Salvador, so that they could be deported and sent back to certain death in their country?
Oh, no, not another digital camera. Yes, this time it's the Olympus C-2100UZ. The UZ stands for Ultra Zoom, and let me clue you, I just adore the 10 times optical zoom on this camera.
