All of the waves on the previous page look pretty much the same. To get more interesting graphs, we can add two waves.

In the section below, you can select a function and enter numbers
into the three fields for two different waves.
For example, if you put a 2 in the first field and a 4 in the second
field and a 45
in the third field and click
the **Start** button, you will see the graph of 2 sin(4*A* + 45),
where *A* represents the current angle.

The third strip chart at the bottom will show you the result of adding the two waves together. Just play around with a variety of numbers and see what you can come up with.

There are other ways to make neat diagrams that show the trails of sine and cosine.
