Pizza Coloré logo After touring the Capitol, I went in search of lunch. I ended up at Pizzeria Colóre Express at 1647 Court Place. (The image is a picture taken at one of their other outlets).

I was impressed; I got a very large slice of thick pan pizza for a good price, and they had granulated garlic available. I couldn't ask for more!
In the same building was Paradise Marketplace where I bought dessert. They had absolutely wonderful chocolate chip cookies and marshmallow rice crisp bars dipped in chocolate for a very, very reasonable price.

On a scale of 1 to 10 on the Eisenberg food-o-meter rating, both these places rate a 9.

After lunch, I walked down the 16th Street Mall. I got to an area near Larimer Square where the buildings were kept in their original condition. The buildings didn't attract me, but I was captivated by this painting on a second story wall:
