The Pictures

All of these pictures were taken using the camera's "High Quality" setting.

[refrigerator magnets] Let's start with a picture of the refrigerator magnets (taken with flash). This mini-picture has been brightened in Adobe Photoshop. The picture is darker than the others; I suspect this camera has a somewhat underpowered flash. However, the detail is just fantastic.

Of course, I couldn't let a "first pictures" page go by without a picture of my favorite subject, Tabitha the cat. Click the picture to see the larger version (71K), which was brightened 20% in PaintShop Pro 5 and cropped and saved in Adobe Photoshop.
